Rehabilitation Care

Rehabilitation Care is provided to assist and support for people following discharge from hospital, usually after an operation or illness. Sometimes, illness or injury may mean that a period of intensive care and support in a residential setting (usually between one and six weeks) is needed. In some instances, due to complex medical conditions or following surgery, a period of rehabilitation may be beneficial. While many people go home from hospital following surgery, a heart attack or a stroke, for some, additional support from qualified Nurses, Carers and Physiotherapists is an important part of recovery.
