Having someone who comes into the home of the person you care for to help with their care can be important. Home care is also appropriate whenever a person prefers to stay at home but needs ongoing care that cannot easily or effectively be provided solely by family and friends. More and more older people, electing to live independent, non-institutionalized lives, are receiving home care services as their physical capabilities diminish. Home care is the most flexible type of care, ranging from 15-minute visits to 24-hour assistance and everything in between.

Home Care can provide short term help – for example, after an operation while you get back on your feet – or it can be long term. The level of care provided can be easily adapted if your needs change. When you contact Grossdale Care Agency we will provide a service through our trained team of care workers, which means we will strive to have the same person visiting your home. We always take your preferences into account. Grossdale Care Agency is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We will take over the burden of being an employer, for example, payroll, training, disciplinary issues and insurance. Grossdale will vet workers before engaging them by taking up references and carrying out checks on potential employees. We train our workforce through induction, national qualifications and service-specific training. Grossdale will replace workers when they are ill, on holiday or resign.
